The One True b!X

For what it's worth, I find the AORTA subway idea to be rather silly. Although I admit that's mainly because I don't see Portland as a subway type of town, much as I don't see it as a baseball sort of town. I like that facets of our everyday life are not sheltered and hidden away but are woven right through out in the open. A subway would wreck that.

Yeah, I agree. I also think it would offer a lot less service(i.e. fewer stops in downtown), cost a lot more, and take a really long time to complete.
